Amidst the shame of poor organisation in the just concluded national awards where the organizers ran out of medals(as if they didnt know the number of people to be awarded) it has come to notice that a country as advanced and as prosperous as the USA has given 105 awards in 200 years while our beloved Nigeria where the condition of the country is deteriorating at a alarming rate due to maladministration by our leaders( most of them recipient of the award) had dished out 3924 award

Nigeria is our's
Its unfortunate the way we Nigerian regard ourselves as second class citizens in our own country, some people even see themselves as illegal immigrant in their own country. We seems not to know our right and what we are entitled to as citizen of Nigeria, we still allow ourselves to be ruled with brutal force by our government as if we are under colonized rule.
In a country where the governor will forced the shut down of businesses and major road in a busy town like warri(banks, express road, schools were forced to close for days), in a country where police maim the citizen rather than protect them, in a country where the political leaders loot the public purse to enrich themselves and families at the detriment of the ignorant people- it can safely be say that Nigeria has gone to the dogs.
The only way Nigeria can get out of this mess we find ourselves, the first thing to do is to enlighten the general masses of the right of the populace, the right that they deserve good governance, accountability from those in public office, that the fate of the leader lies in the hands of the people and that our leader are just servant to us and not political gods and they can face justice.
Lets take Nigeria from the dogs by enlightening our people on their rights and we will see what happen in Egypt,Tunisia and Lbya happen here, they demand for better goverment and the people took their rights to the street and defeated the oppressor.
Nigeria will be saved
